Dell Streak Uses Android Software

The Dell Streak which is a hybrid of smartphone and tablet PC. The Streak is out on the market now and can be bought for $300.00 USD along with a two year AT&T contract.

If you are considering to buy the Streak, remember that they are using a older version of the software and that many of the newer apps will not work on the older version of the Android software.

It should also be said that many of the top tech reviewers think that it is more hype than anything.

What do you think about the Streak?

Droid Incredible HD Coming To Verizon?

HTC already has their Droid phones out on Sprint network, but rumors are swirling that perhaps their newest version the Droid Incredible HD will be on the Verizon network.

I want this to be true, since it can really give the iPhone some major issues if they go with a popular network. The downside is that the iPhone is rumored yet again to be coming on Verizon this January.
So the sales for the Droid Incredible HD may be down due to the iPhone, if both rumors are even true. Neither may even come out on Verizon, we do not know at the moment eitehr way. But I do have hopes that HTC will do something the Apple has failed to do.
The good news is that even if both rumors turn out to be just rumors you can still buy either one and get it unlocked for the network of your choice-which is now legal thanks to the Federal Government.

Do you hope that the Droid Incredible HD comes out for Verizon? How about the iPhone rumors?

Want Your Own Android App? Google Wants You To Create One!

Google is well on their way to beat Apple and they have one more way to say that they are better. Google recently released their own app inventor for Android, which will allow anyone to create their own app for the Android based phones. This will even allow those who are not good at writing codes to create one. This will allow one way for the Android to grow in a way that the iPhone cannot.

This only makes me want to own a Android this much more! This will give them a boost to really gain footing on Apple, which seems to be faltering at the moment. I hope that Android will cause other smart phones to follow their footsteps.

Do you plan on creating your own Android app?

Public Transit Schedules On Your Android Phone?

We all know that the Android OS based phones are some of the most advance phones on the market, with new updates added all the time. Well, with the new release from the latest OS update your Android phone can tell you when your cities local bus will be coming your way.

I am so happy that they added this feature, it will help so many people who do use public transit. It will be easier than having to keep getting a new bus schedule every time they release a new one or if you hardly ride it and do not have one handy. This feature is one of the better features out in the market and I am happy that they have not forgotten about those who do not drive.

How do you feel about this addition to the Android phones?

What Is The Android OS?

Many wonder what the heck is this Android phones and devices that they keep hearing about. Well the simple answer is a Google's OS that they release to gadget creators to build systems on.

The most common device that uses it are smart phones, like the new Motorola i1 that is being released on Boost Mobile's network. The Android OS has been known to give Apple's iPhone OS a run for its money, and unlike Apple's the Android OS can be used for other mobile devices as well. It is not limited to only Google device and is considered a freeware.

The Android OS has grown and will likely continue to grow over the next 5 years with additional advancements taking place.

What are your thoughts on the Android OS?
