What Is The Android OS?

Many wonder what the heck is this Android phones and devices that they keep hearing about. Well the simple answer is a Google's OS that they release to gadget creators to build systems on.

The most common device that uses it are smart phones, like the new Motorola i1 that is being released on Boost Mobile's network. The Android OS has been known to give Apple's iPhone OS a run for its money, and unlike Apple's the Android OS can be used for other mobile devices as well. It is not limited to only Google device and is considered a freeware.

The Android OS has grown and will likely continue to grow over the next 5 years with additional advancements taking place.
