Reportedly Symbian is the most popular smartphone OS out on the market, yet they lost one of their biggest manufactures-Sony Ericsson. Sony Ericsson issued a recent statement that they have no future plans on building a smartphone using the Symbian OS and will use the Android OS for all upcoming smartphones.As of yet, Nokia is the only one currently still building phones for it and the iOS and Android OS appear to be gaining on it. So their days of being the number one smartphone OS is limited.
What are you thoughts on the news about this? Is this good or bad in your opinion? Is this good for Google or bad in the long run? I am a little bit torn on this, I think it could both ways.
